FAQ

Choosing the right photograph.

A few practical answers before you create yours.

What is a lithophane photo lamp?

A lithophane-style photo lamp turns an image into a thin translucent relief. The picture looks quiet when unlit, then appears when warm light passes through it.

When do I pay?

After choosing the piece and crop, you check out securely with Stripe. We contact you if the photo needs clarification before production.

What photographs work best?

Clear faces, gentle window light, and simple backgrounds work best. Very dark photos, tiny screenshots, or crowded group photos may need cropping or a different layout.

Can I use a wedding, memorial, baby, or family photo?

Yes. Wedding portraits, family memories, memorial photographs, baby photos, and old scanned images are all good candidates when the main subject is clear.

What is the difference between Portrait and Cube?

Portrait uses one photograph in a vertical or landscape light. Cube uses four photographs, one on each glowing face, and works well for a small set of connected memories.

Will my full photograph be visible?

Each size has a fixed crop ratio so it fits the lit frame correctly. You drag and zoom the photo to choose what stays visible before checkout.

How long does production take?

Most paid orders are made and shipped within 5 to 7 days, before carrier transit time.

How are my photographs handled?

The crop preview is prepared in your browser. A compressed crop and source reference are stored privately with the order so we can make the piece.

What are the pieces made from?

Each piece is made to order from precision 3D-printed translucent material with a warm LED glow and a finished base.
